We are so proud to hear that Leo Jarvis who is a pupil in the 11+ class has been cast as James in James and The Giant Peach,this Easter at South Hill Park.The show runs from the 8th - 14th April and we will certainly be going along to support him! Well done Leo and break a leg!

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 8TH 2012 - 8+ CLASS

PERFORMANCE ENERGY AND STAMINA WORKSHOP - WITH WENDY MARSHALL

All performers need to know how to keep in tip top condition, to have plenty of energy and stamina for any performance. We hope to inform our class at Cordes Hall of ways in producing the best performance whilst looking and feeling great.

Wendy Marshall of Wendy's Workout qualified as an aerobics instructor at Farnborough College and is also qualified as a step instructor and an urban rebound instructor. She has taught in the community for 12 years offering a range of classes and is delighted to have class members ranging from 16 years to 70 years!!

Her main goal at FASBAT is to show how fitness levels can be increased to provide optimum stamina for performance but just as importantly she will offer fun, friendship and support.

MAKE-UP WORKSHOP - ALL CLASSES AT CORDES HALL

We are very excited to welcome Sophie Anna Taylor to FASBAT to take a make-up workshop for each of the Cordes Hall classes. The pupils will be able to have a chance at applying make-up to each other and transforming their looks!!

The annual show for the Marist Preparatory school is a window into the 70's. Disco fever, world known musicals and even a miners strike all take their place in this wonderful homage to a colourful decade



FASBAT HAS TALENT - FRIDAY 30TH MARCH 2012 - CORDES HALL PUPILS

Our annual Talent Show will be taking place at the end of this current term. All pupils can choose what ever they would like to do to entertain the audience! The prizes as always will be decided in the class catagories by the audience with an esteemed panel making the decision on the most overall entertaining act of the evening. It really is a night not to be missed!!!!

After the success of our Street Dance Workshop last term we have decided to give our pupils another chance to have a hip and happening lesson!


OLYMPIC COMMENTATING

 2012 will be a very exciting Olympic Year for Great Britain and with this in mind we hope to have a BBC Olympic Commentator come along and work with the pupils on the art of commentary
